100th Day of School

Monday, January 28, was the one hundredth day of school at Faith Christian Academy, Hurt.  Kindergarteners and first graders commemorated the day with activities and lessons that reinforced counting and math facts. 

One of the benchmarks for entering first grade is being able to count to one hundred. Kindergarteners made crowns, collectively composed a story about the day, and each wrote it out.  First graders practiced number identification, money, and skip counting.
