Has the public school system got you down?

Every family deserves to know their options. Here’s what we continue to offer:

In-class learning, five days a week

We have been educating since 1989. That’s thirty-one years of quality, faith-based education for kids and teens. A lot has changed in the past three decades, but we are proud that FCA continues to offer strong and consistent value to families just like yours.  And because our class size is limited, we are able to continue without compromising quality or schedule.  In fact, we are the most prepared we’ve ever been to handle the unexpected!

More opportunities for financial aid

Every family deserves to know their options. Thanks to a generous tax credit program that helps Virginia families, we are able to offer financial aid to many of our currently enrolled families.  We also work with Renew-A-Nation, to make sure financial aid continues long-term. As of right now, we are excited to say that financial aid opportunities are bigger and better than ever!!  We have additional funding specifically for students coming from public school or entering Kindergarten and your eligibility for tuition assistance can be determined very quickly. Some are saving more than 50%.

A safe, positive learning environment

We utilize God-given, common-sense solutions while vigilantly keeping students safe and healthy. Besides receiving a quality education, your child will gain respect for themselves and others through initiatives already in place.

We had no idea how much we needed the change until we experienced FCA, and I only wish we would have made the move sooner. The difference in public and private is priceless. The love and support here is amazing.

Because of Covid, we looked into FCA. It has been the best decision we’ve ever made for our kids. Our daughter is in Middle school and has already said she wants to continue through 12th grade.

FCA is a hidden gem! The family atmosphere, strong academic curriculum and Biblical integration is stellar. I highly recommend this school!

After the first month, he is reading better, writing better and overall much more confident in himself. He is “THRIVING!” There’s just no better way to put it.

FROM OUR ALUMNI

"Learning at Faith Christian Academy was an honor. Great teachers, curriculum, and staff. Went to FCA for 14 years, from preschool through high school graduation.” (Ben, 2010 Graduate)

“It’s small and allows for more direct contact with the teachers if you need help. I didn’t feel invisible in class.” (Stephanie, 2020 Graduate).

“What About Distance Learning?”

When distance learning became our new normal during the pandemic, we pushed forward to bring Light and Joy to our students.

Faith Christian Academy’s strength is in discipleship and relational education, so distance learning was a difficult pill to swallow for everyone. Here’s the feedback we’ve gotten from our families: “Distance learning turned a great experience at school into a mediocre one.” Well, we agree! But thanks to a collaborative effort of teachers, distance learning professionals, and many complex conversations, we think future distance learning for FCA students will be anything but mediocre.

Here’s what we have planned to make sure that we are prepared to teach your children well, no matter what happens next:

  • Tools like Seesaw (K-2nd grade) and Google classroom (grades 3-12)

  • Focus on Students. A limited class size allows your child to be a focal point all year long.

  • Learning, because tests don't measure everything. Students will be graded fairly.

distance learning is more than academics. we address the needs of body, soul & mind.

During the quarantine, our students (like Hayden, age 11) received weekly fitness videos from our P.E. teacher. They got workouts that were easy to do at home with training that varied from week to week.
