Fire Safety Week 2023

The week of October 10th was Fire Safety Week at Faith Christian Academy. Preschool and elementary students spent the week learning about safety during emergencies and they even heard from a local firefighter. Lieutenant Fred Dalton of the Hurt Volunteer Fire Depart spoke, at the special Fire Assembly, to the students about what to do during a fire and precautions to take to prevent fires. After the assembly students were given a tour of the fire truck and shown what the fire fighters protective gear looks like.
